Hello! I’m Carter, and I’m a fine-line artist who loves working with clients to bring their artistic visions to life. While I enjoy scientific-illustration drawings and surrealism, I also thrive on undertaking diverse projects.

Tattoos are a bold and creative way for someone to, quite literally, wear their mind on their sleeve. I'm inspired by the vision and courage it takes to commit to such a personal form of art. This dedication to the inner self takes vision and courage; everyday I am thrilled to work with clients on art they feel resonates with their unique identity.

My artistic journey began with a fine arts degree from Carnegie Mellon, where I specialized in intricate silverpoint drawings and practiced tattooing on cowhide. After a decade-long detour into programming, I rediscovered my true passion for tattoos. I embarked on my tattoo career at The Night in the Forest Tattoo Studio and have recently made San Francisco my permanent home, eager to continue my artistic journey in a bustling urban setting.
